Lokator project is designed to allow the functionality of tracking one or more vehicles using the global positioning system (GPS), mobile communication network (GPRS) and internet. The System allows the user to track positions and movement of vehicles through a simple web interface. Positions are determined with a device installed in the vehicle which gathers data about position and the speed of the device. Collected data is then sent via mobile network to the central database where its stored and from where it can later be read by the user using applications web interface.
